Lamp Inspired Character Design

A quick design project based off the prop in the second image. I wanted to really take the original design and change it while still keeping it recognizable. I tried to keep the bigger hips and shape of the original dancer on the lamp and the colours too, but change up the outfit and smaller details. I also decided to make the actual lampshade of the lamp into a huge broadsword so that I could keep the general shape and size ratio of the girl to the sword.
